   Maino is well respected rapper from Brooklyn, Ny who started to get noticed from his street credibility and also from Smack Dvds.
  In his song “What Happen” he raps about how New York fell off with hip hop. Maino is disappointed in NY rappers how we don’t support one another and we should have unity.
   Jadakiss another rapper who’s well respected in hip hop and well known in NY jumps on this record. Jadakiss is stating what happen to NY!? Ny doesn’t even have a NY sound everything is a just about making hit records and forgot the concept of NY lyricism.
   For everyone who just started being a fan of hip hop, NY rappers created lyricism of story telling, when they would rap of going through poverty and struggle in there society. It’s not about making hit records, it’s about how skillful you are on the mic and talented.
    So check this record out by Maino ft Jadakiss “What Happen”. There’s a lot of truth in this song.

Meek Mill – Kendrick You Next (Cassidy Diss)

I really like this track from Meek MIll, this joint here is the best diss track I heard someone got at Cassidy. Meek Mill & Cassidy use to be cool with one another, they both come from Philly and grew up with each other and know the same people from there hood. It seems either one of their egos got in the way with each other. It’s been around a year since these two emcee been beefing and never resolved there situation.
Back to the diss record Kendrick You Next, in this diss record Meek Mill use beats from 2pac, Biggie, Nas & 50 cent and my opinion he didn’t let them down. Part of hip hop battles you get insult your opponent in all ways, from exaggerating the truth & insults. Meek Mill came out with all of that and rumors that was going in in the streets. It was a good diss track because Meek Mill knows Cassidy personally, so it would favor him on his side.
At the end of the track Meek Mill warns Kendrick Lamar he’s coming for him, it’s not personal but it’s part of hip hop competition. What Meek Mill did in this record to Cassidy, I’m anxious what he got up his sleeve for Kendrick.

K-Ci & JoJo- Knock it Off

I would never expect K-Ci & JoJo would come back to music. They made there mark in music with 2 great amazing songs such as “Tell Me It’s Real” & “All My Life”.
K-Ci & JoJo started from a group in the in the early 90’s, when the group broke up 2 of the members continue there passion for music which is K-Ci & JoJo.

I think they still got it but is it the wrong timing for them!? R&B music changed so much from there time and era, like everything else In life everything changes and so does music. Today’s R&B music is so different and artist as well. The artist today Neyo, Trey Songz, Chris Brown has elevated our music today compare to K-Ci & JoJo time.

Meek Mill – Levels

This video was such a suspense all over YouTube with it’s trailer. It was such a big hype when everyone found out Hyper Williams is producing the video. Hype Williams is one of the biggest producer in today’s day of hip hop music video.
In this video you see a few cameos such as T.I and Irv Gotti. I was shocked out of all people Irv Gotti in the video he’s been missing from the spot light since the feud with 50 cent. Irv try to get back on the spot light when he had his own reality show in 2007 “Gotti’s Way” which didn’t do so good. In the video he’s shining with jewelry, maybe he has some business with MMG.
A lot of fans was disappointed on the video, saying it felt like a long commercial, What do you the fans think? Was it just a big hype? Hype Williams did a great job like he always does?

Enough is enough for Chris Brown, “I’m tired of being famous for a mistake”. Chris Brown tweets “Don’t worry main stream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last”. “Being famous is amazing when it’s ur music and talent”, Chris wrote. “I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I’m cool and over it.”

I really think Chris Brown needs to think this over. He brings so much talent to main stream America and he’s a great entertainer. People need to get over him assaulting Rihanna. The only reason why people keep bringing it up is because publicity sells. The media creates drama, ruining people lives just to make a living. It’s horrible how they use someone’s mistake to make money. Honestly, the media doesn’t care about the assault. If they did they wouldn’t have shown her bruised face all over the newspaper and magazines.

Drake- Hold on We’re Going Home

For all you Drizzy fans, he got a new hit record called “Hold on We’re Going Home”. It’s been playing all over the radio stations and this record is going to be in his next album “Nothing was the same”.

In some of Drake’s records he actually sings. He’s talented in so many ways. He’s a great rapper but he doesn’t get a lot of credit for his singing ability. In hip hop music, they don’t really accept, it’s either you stick to singing or you just rap. People should actually appreciate what Drake is bringing to the hip hop world today.

Drake sings throughout the whole song. I’m impressed that he brings the old school 90’s beat and flow with his voice.
